About

Jennifer was admitted to practice in 2001 and has spent her career working in environment and planning law. Prior to joining Lindsay Taylor Lawyers, Jennifer worked as an in-house solicitor for a number of different State government agencies and a local council, assisting her clients with a broad range of matters including prosecution (and some defence) work for all matters related to environment and heritage, judicial review matters, investigations and inquiries (including coronial inquiries), governance and probity matters and fraud and corruption prevention.

Having spent many years advising internal State Government clients, Jennifer has a unique understanding of the complexities and challenges that regulatory agencies often face when involved in litigation or when making decisions that affect the community, as well as the need for strong governance frameworks to support decision making.

Jennifer has a particular interest and expertise in regulatory and investigations matters, having both appeared and instructed counsel in a wide range of matters in the local and Land and Environment Court dealing with environmental offences as varied as damaging NSW National Parks and State forests, licensing offences and land clearing. As well as regulatory matters, Jennifer has advised on a wide range of other matters including work health and safety, employment law, access to information and privacy.
